A Night With The Villains

In 2023, Our Yakka co-produced the concert A Night With The Villains, a mesmerizing concert celebration dedicated to all things evil! Audiences are enchanted by a spellbinding lineup of talented local performers, as they take the stage and lead them on a captivating journey through the most villainous of musical hits.

This piece was conceived by Elodie Boal, a groundbreaking female playwright and director from the greater Brisbane region and Trent Sellars. Producing this event supported local talent and Queensland's arts industry.

A Night With The Villains was developed to support performers who had missed out on stage opportunities due to recent cancellations of productions. Our Yakka believes it aligns with our four values of making engaging and meaningful experience, unifying communities, nurturing development, and inspiring individuals.

The show played for one night only in 2023 and is due to return on October 31st, 2024 at Ron Hurley Theatre.
